cake POPS

2011 is the year of the cake pops. even though the process is a little longer than your usual cakes and cupcakes, they are definitely worth the effort. the great thing about cake pops is that you can get super creative with how you mould your cake. hearts, fruits and animals are not out of the question. and best of all, its a no mess eating indulgence thats perfect for parties!

strawberries and cream

only a few more days till ss 11/12 is here, and nothing reminds me more of my favourite season than strawberries and cream. a simple and fresh combination that can never go wrong.

chocolate and peanut butter

warning: not for the health conscious. this indulgent cupcake is somewhat of an homage to the reeses pieces peanut butter cups. a chocolate buttermilk cupcake filled with chocolate ganache topped with a generous amount of peanut butter buttercream, more ganache and a bite of the famous chocolate treat.

spring is here! and what better way to start off my favourite season with some raspberries and cream between layers of light sponge cake. very simple and very delicious.
