boo!

happy halloween! last weekend i decided on a spontaneous bake of vanilla cupcakes with easy buttercream decorations. between tricking or treating, i think treating is always the way to go.

last month my brother turned 30. and he was treated to three types of cupcakes - chocolate, red velvet and strawberry cheesecake (which turned out to be the fave!).

a definite treat for the lovers of chocolate. a combination of light and moist chocolate cake, topped with a rich, thick, velvety smooth chocolate custard icing. to be enjoyed with a cup of coffee. or a cup of milk to take you back to childhood days.

There is nothing more exciting than coming up with flavour combinations for cupcakes. And there is nothing better than starting the week with a coconut and lime cupcake. A punchy lime kick combined with a subtle coconut butter cream makes for a delicious treat!
